Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # AgentDescent You have tools (MCP server `agentdescent`) or, without MCP, the `agentdescent` command with the same verbs. A run is an evolution: N workers propose edits in parallel, a merger keeps the ones that improve held-out reward, and nothing is written back until the user says so. ## The procedure 1. **`doctor` first.** Report what is missing (worker agent CLI, provider key, container engine). Stop if there is no worker agent for a directory kind. It also reports the AgentDescent `version` and the interpreter (`executable`) this server runs. When results differ from the user's shell (a verb missing, a different key set), compare it with `agentdescent doctor` there: your host may have started a different install. 2. **Establish the four things a spec needs**: `target`, `data`, `score`, `agent`. Write every path **absolute**. A relative one is resolved against whatever directory read the spec -- the host started its MCP server somewhere you cannot see -- so the same spec finds the file from one host and not another. - `kind`: `text` (a prompt or instruction), `skill_dir` (a SKILL.md folder), …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
