Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # BAML expert BAML = small DSL for typed LLM calls. Author `.baml` files in `baml_src/`, run `baml-cli generate`, get a typed Python package at `baml_client/`. The generated `b` object exposes each function as a typed method. BAML handles prompt rendering, HTTP, retries, fallbacks, streaming, and **Schema-Aligned Parsing (SAP)** — robust coercion of messy LLM output into typed objects. Use this skill for any task touching `.baml` files, `baml_client`, or calls into it. Read the full repo layout first if unclear: the convention is `baml_src/*.baml` + generated `baml_client/` (gitignored; regenerated on every change). ## First: BAML v0 or BAML v1? This skill covers **BAML v0**: the `baml-py` / `@boundaryml/baml` SDK (0.2xx) and its `baml-cli`. Upstream also ships **BAML v1**, a separate language and toolchain (`brew install baml`, `baml-language-0.NN` releases) whose syntax is incompatible. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
