DEPRECATED. Use cfn-epic-creator-v2 (adds AISP formal contracts, prevents type drift). For full tiered planning use cfn-megaplan. v1 kept for the simpler single-domain prose-epic flow only.

# CFN Epic Creator > **DEPRECATED.** Prefer **cfn-epic-creator-v2** (same persona review plus AISP formal API contracts that eliminate type drift across agents). For non-trivial builds, **cfn-megaplan** is the canonical planning entry point and runs equivalent multi-perspective review through its DAG phases (decide/data/arch/ux/design/test-plan/ops). Use v1 only for a quick single-domain prose epic with no formal contracts. Output still feeds cfn-epic-parser. ## Overview The cfn-epic-creator skill provides orchestration for creating comprehensive epic definitions through sequential reviews from eleven persona reviews: Simplifier (initial scope reduction), Product Manager, Architect, Security Specialist, Backend Developer, Frontend Developer, DevOps Engineer, Test Specialist, Code Standards Reviewer, Strategic Alignment Reviewer, and Simplifier (final complexity check). ## Usage The epic creator is a **main chat workflow** - not a standalone script. Main chat: 1. Creates base JSON 2. Spawns Simplifier for initial scope reduction (review only - returns recommendations) 3. User approves initial simplifications 4. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
