One iteration of an unattended development loop. Use when invoked by name.

Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

What the file says

Run the following command exactly once without changing the current working directory. Replace `{project-root}` with the absolute path to the project root and `{skill-root}` with the absolute path to this skill's directory:

- When the invocation names a route (`oneshot` or `full`), append `--set workflow.route=<value>` to the command.
- When the invocation names a review selection (`none`, `quick`, or `thorough`; "skip review" or "no review" mean `none`), append `--set workflow.review=<value>` to the command.
- The command should print one line to stdout. `read and follow <rendered workflow.md>`: read that file and follow it. `HALT: <reason>`: report the reason and stop.
- If the script does not exist, BMad is not set up in this project yet. Offer to set it up using `bmad` skill, then run the command again. If you do not have the `bmad` skill, offer to install it first.
- On any other output or failure, including `uv` being unavailable, report the command output and stop. Do not run any workflow source directly.

How to install

The exact contents, by fingerprint

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261010.7e8c606, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
