Finds open-licence SVG illustrations for empty states, onboarding, errors or heroes, ranks them for fit, recolors them to the design tokens with light, dark and themed variants, and wires them in.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# OpenDesigner: illustrations Use this when someone asks for illustrations, "make it more visual", art for an empty state, onboarding, a 404 or error page, a sign-in panel, a hero or feature tiles. It is also the open-library path of the `H-illus` hook (`hooks.md` in the opendesigner skill). It works with or without an OpenDesigner system; with one, the art takes the system's colors and follows its theme. Output: SVG files (or React components) recolored to the tokens, one CSS file that switches their colors with the theme, a licence ledger and `ATTRIBUTION.md`, all in the person's repo. Nothing is final until the person picks it. Talk plainly: one idea and one question per message, and recommend one option with its reason. The first time a term appears, give its plain meaning plus "Designers: X · Code: Y" (`references/rules.md` in the opendesigner skill). Helper: `scripts/illustrate.py` (called `illustrate.py` below; run it from the person's project). How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
