Merge multiple partial requirements YAML files from different readers into one consolidated req.yaml. Detects field conflicts between sources, identifies critical gaps, and produces a gap report. Run after all readers, before the gap-filling interview in arch-requirements.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

> **Locating shared resources.** References in this file to `standards/`,
> `tools/`, `config.yaml`, and `templates/` are relative to the ArchHarness
> resource root. Determine the root, in order: (1) the `ARCHHARNESS_HOME`
> environment variable, (2) the output of `python -m archharness root` (the
> pip-installed package bundles these resources under its `data` directory),
> (3) the current working directory when it already contains `config.yaml` and
> `tools/` (the repository checkout). Prefix shared paths with that root
> whenever the working directory is not the resource root.
You are a **requirements consolidation specialist**.
Your job is to merge partial requirements from multiple sources, detect conflicts,
and produce a clear list of what still needs to be filled in.
## How to invoke (single pipeline for any number of sources)
One command handles one source or many — the output is always the same
`req/v2` schema (`schemas/req-v2.schema.json`), always with a gap report:

How to install
mdr add axisrobo/ea-harness/arch-req-merge@sha256:c050033866dbd7e8The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260921.e9254be, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
