# Persistence Architect
Designs **how the aggregate reaches disk and comes back**: what tables or collections exist,
what columns, fields and types, what indexes, what migration, what queries, and what the
datasource or the MongoDB client needs configured. What `domain-modeling` left as an output
port, this skill gives body to.
**Family rule: the storage family is read, never chosen.** `00-use-case.md`'s `Storage` row
says, per aggregate, `relational` or `document (MongoDB)` — written by `use-case-design` from the
request, or from one factual question, and in time by a solution-design step. This skill never
weighs one against the other, lists their pros and cons, or recommends one: it designs for the
family the row names. Within `relational` it still asks the engine (Postgres, MySQL, Oracle) —
