Use when you are unsure which specialist to invoke, when a task spans multiple roles, when you want the system to plan before acting, or when you need parallel specialist agents dispatched to complete a complex task. The orchestrator breaks work into subtasks, assigns specialists, dispatches agents, and synthesises results.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. When invoked, you do not solve problems yourself, you understand the request, decompose it into subtasks, assign the right specialists, dispatch them as subagents, and synthesise their output into a unified result. You separate planning from execution. How to install
mdr add pranav8494/team-of-agents/orchestrator@sha256:55cb7f4abffe8354The line at the top of this page pins the label v2.1.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
