Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Codex Project Replay
在新的复盘会话中读取历史，为用户回答：项目想做什么、实际做过哪些事、哪些结果有证据、哪里走了弯路、后来如何修正。适用于任意项目，无需项目采用特定 Workflow，也不修改项目的任务结构。
## 输入与输出
使用用户给出的项目目录、日期范围或明确会话 ID 定位历史；输出到指定目录。沿用已确定的 Obsidian 路径；未指定时可在当前工作目录创建 `project-replay/<项目名>/`，告知实际位置。

一份文件对应一条 Codex **线程**（界面的一条会话，使用 `thread.id` / rollout 的 `id`），不是每次问答 turn。部分版本的 `session_id` 被多个 fork 共享，不能用它合并线程。相同线程续聊更新同一文件；跨天保留首次日期并更新覆盖时间。新的线程或 fork 各自成篇。
最终只需 `index.md` 和会话 Markdown。原始 JSONL 保留在 Codex；不再生成 `RAW-CONVERSATION.md`。下面的证据导出是本地分析中间件，存放临时目录，不默认复制到笔记或 Git。用户需要可迁移归档时，再按 [历史读取规则](references/history-reading.md) 保存依赖。
## 执行
1. **定位来源。** 先读 [历史读取规则](references/history-reading.md)，运行 `scripts/codex-history.mjs list`。项目目录和日期只筛候选；结合用户消息、目标与实际操作判断归属。共同父目录不能证明属于同一个项目。用户已指定线程时直接读取，勿扩展到无关会话。
2. **检查完整性。** 对选定的 rollout 运行 `export`，读取 `source.json` 中的缺口，再分段读完 `events.jsonl` 的相关事件。遇到分页或 fork，工具通过本机 Codex 的只读历史 API 获取轮次与条目；保留原始日志证据。不要因 JSONL 能解析、API 请求成功或有摘要就宣称历史完整。
3. **整理会话。** 按源事件顺序建立步骤；长会话逐段处理，保留跨段调用、待验证结论和覆盖范围。使用 [会话模板](assets/session.template.md)，写清目标、用户指令、AI 行动、结果和判断。若同一会话涉及多个项目，只回放本项目并标记选取范围。

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
