Frictionless setup. Detects a missing local runtime, installs or repairs it, configures local memory, and verifies the full plugin -> MCP -> local runtime round-trip. Run after `/plugin install wenlan@7xuanlu-wenlan`, or any time the user says "set up wenlan", "is wenlan working", "fix wenlan".
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Setup
Reached through `/wenlan`: bare `/wenlan` starts this when Wenlan is not
ready, and so does asking to set up or fix it.
Self-healing setup. Goal: two user actions max: install plugin, type `/wenlan`.
Default backend is local memory: no local model, no API key, no prompts.
## Steps
Run in order. Stop and report at the first failure that needs human attention.
Otherwise, push through automatically.

It prints one line, `daemon=<v> expected=<v> release=<v> result=<result>`,
comparing numerically per component with build metadata (`+g<sha>`) stripped.
`older` means the daemon is older than the plugin.

How to install
mdr add wenlan-app/wenlan/setup@sha256:3dc8782d3aca8841The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261019.52656ab, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
