Build a morning brief from Littlebird activity and meetings. Use for today's commitments, changes, and one priority. Read README.md for the guide map.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Daily brief
## Purpose
One screen every morning covering the whole day: the schedule compressed, the commitments
actually due, what went cold, the unread threads that genuinely need a reply, the one
highest-leverage thing to do, and what changed since yesterday.
**This skill is designed around a single constraint, and the constraint is honest: daily
digests are the most-abandoned category of recurring automation there is.** A brief that
restates the calendar is deleted within a week. Daily is the hardest cadence to sustain,
and the archive says so directly: daily sending is where fatigue "shows up most clearly",
and a daily cadence "raises the bar significantly" for content quality
[references/research/distilled-daily-brief-design.md]. Two of the three top unsubscribe
reasons, lost interest and irrelevant content, are the same failure at different distances:
the digest stopped saying anything about the reader's actual situation
[references/research/distilled-daily-brief-design.md].
So every design decision in this skill exists to earn the open again the next day. The
length ceiling, the quiet-day rule, the precision bar, the mandatory delta field, and the
…
The line at the top of this page pins the label v1.0.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
A 17 of 17 checks passed. Fixed automatic checks with no AI involved, so the same checks give the same answer every run.
