Security review of any codebase that is not Solidity. Traces each reachable handler from input to effect and reports the access-control, injection, data-exposure and failure-path bugs the code proves, each with file, line and fix. Use when asked to review a web app, API, service, CLI or library for security vulnerabilities, before a release, or to test a suspected web or backend finding against the code. Runs on your own model with no account.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
<!-- GENERATED by scripts/build-pack.mjs from pack/ and the engine in web/public. Edit those, then run the script. --> # Code security review Use it on any codebase that is not Solidity: web apps, APIs, services, CLIs, libraries. For Solidity use `solidity-review`. You are the reviewer: your own model answers, and nothing is sent to Bounty Operator. ## Run it 1. Collect the files. The handlers, routes, jobs and exported functions in scope come first, then the auth, session, validation and data-access code they call, at the revision under review. Text files only. Leave out `.env` files, keys, lockfiles and build output. 2. Label the files `input-1/<path>`, `input-2/<path>` and so on, in that order, with each path relative to the repository root. Count lines from 1 in each file. Your copies carry no line-number prefix: the instructions below describe how a hosted run shows them. Cite a location as `<label>:<line>` or `<label>:<start>-<end>`, and only lines you have read. 3. Set the Mode. `own-code` for code the user ships, `bounty` for a finding the user plans to report. Ask when it is not clear; it fixes the verdict words. …

How to install
mdr add bountyoperator/bounty-operator/code-security-review@sha256:312380e100a0ae83The line at the top of this page pins the label v0.9.18, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
