Use when capturing E2E test evidence (screenshots, videos, traces) and storing them in .copilot-tracking/skraft-plans/{projectSlug}/changes/{date}/evidence/{story}/evidence/ for agents to consume. Covers Playwright setup, on-failure capture, trace collection, and evidence manifest generation.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Playwright Evidence Skill
## Overview
For frontend stories, engineer captures evidence under the exact dispatched
story directory (normally `.copilot-tracking/skraft-plans/{projectSlug}/changes/{date}/evidence/{story}/evidence/`).
Use the resolved tracking root and return actual repository-root-relative paths;
never infer today's directory or read pipeline state. Backend-only work does not
load browser capture.

`{story}` is the story slug passed as `SKRAFT_STORY_ID` env var (e.g. `42-add-eligibility-check`).
Use returned plan and evidence refs, not legacy phase-path conventions.
**Scope:** capture, name, store and list evidence. Engineer owns capture/manifest;
router consumes refs only. For report media selection load
`qa-reporting`, then its
[reporting contract](references/report-contract.md#media-boundary). No hosting or

How to install
mdr add sebastiendegodez/skraft-plugin/playwright-evidence@sha256:55b53f2537dda47cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261011.2406fc7, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
