Compare three materially different product design directions in a live review studio, collect pins and ratings, and develop the selected direction. Use for visual alternatives, comparison or a remix.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # OpenPlanr Design Loop Help the user choose and refine a direction through a real comparison board. Generate three alternatives by default; honor an explicit requested count. 1. Read [discovery.md](references/discovery.md) and [design-system.md](references/design-system.md). Inspect the brief, existing product, assets, reference screens, design document and previous preferences. Ask short, consequential unresolved questions through the host's native question surface, with one-question chat fallback. Reuse answers already provided. 2. Read [generation.md](references/generation.md) and [craft.md](references/craft.md). Define three distinct approaches to layout, hierarchy, typography and brand expression, all addressing the same journey. Keep the [document contract](schemas/design-document.schema.json) shared. Assign one direction per native agent in parallel when supported; otherwise create them sequentially in this active host session. How to install
mdr add openplanr/openplanr/planr-design-loop@sha256:3aeaaec08e55d753The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261005.d4f1cc8, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
