Investigate a live page via Claude for Chrome and add missing site-specific include/skip rules to lib/rules.txt. Invoke with /add-site-rules <URL>.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Add site rules from a live URL The user gives a URL where Imp Translate currently mis-handles a site (some region not translated, or unrelated UI translated). Use claude-in-chrome to open the page, inspect the DOM, compare against `lib/rules.txt`, and add the minimal selectors needed. Rule syntax recap (uBlock-style): - `domain##selector` — skip (do not translate) matching elements - `domain#+#selector` — include (only translate inside) matching elements - `entity.*` — match any TLD via PSL (e.g. `google.*` covers `google.com`, `google.com.hk`) ## Pick the mode first: include vs skip Choose the mode where the rule set is **bounded** for that site. Don't toggle modes site-by-page — the site picks one mode, the other is used only for refinements. - **Include (`#+#`) — component-based platforms/apps**. Translatable content lives in named, repeatable containers; the rest is heavy localized chrome that changes often. Examples: Twitter/X, YouTube, Reddit, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, Discord, Twitch, StackOverflow, GitHub issues/PRs. Decision: "are post/video/comment containers named and stable?" → yes → include. …

How to install
mdr add rxliuli/imp-translate/add-site-rules@sha256:3b3fed16c4f62d18The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260429.a8e79d2, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
