Failure-mode audit (FMEA for software) — for each way the system can fail (network, storage, partial completion, crash, concurrency, bad input), check whether code DETECTS, HANDLES, RECOVERS, and COMMUNICATES it. Flags data loss, silent-success-on-failure, missing rollback/retry/idempotency. Reports; does not fix unless asked.

# Resilience Audit **Language:** Generate EVERYTHING at runtime in the user's language — questions, answer options, menu labels, recommendations, report narrative. Detect from their messages; never default to English just because this file is English. English is allowed only for technical terms: commands, paths, code identifiers, severity labels (CRITICAL/HIGH/MEDIUM/LOW), and tier names (Light/Standard/Heavy). **Config reads — every config key, always the CASCADE, never the bare project file:** `~/.claude/.coalmine.json` first, then the project config (own agent dir → other known agent dirs → legacy `<gitroot>/.claude/.coalmine.json`, then `<gitroot>/.coalmine.json`); project wins per key **EXCEPT** the conductor's own safety clamps — `scanEverything`/`updateMode`/`enableConductor`/`rotCanaryMode` are clamped safer-value-wins (a project can only quieten, never escalate, among the clamp's own known values; an absent global reads as the schema default and is clamped the same way — an unrecognized project value is not validated here), and `scanExcludePaths`/`disabledCanaries` union-merge (a project adds, never drops). How to install
