Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Mediary Scout — Agent 操作面
你在通过本地 HTTP API 操作用户本机运行的 Mediary Scout。所有细节（完整 schema、错误码、字段清单）在 `references/api.md`。
## 1. 连接（每次先做）
发现文件在 `~/.mediary/agent.json`（权限 0600），内容：

- **文件不存在** → 桌面版用户：让用户打开 **Mediary Scout 桌面 app**（首启会生成 token 并写这个文件），然后重试。Docker 用户：这个文件要自己建，按仓库 `docs/agent-api.md` 的「开启 → Docker」三步来。
- **文件存在但 curl connection refused** → 桌面版：app 没在运行，让用户启动 Mediary Scout 桌面 app。Docker：实例没在跑或这台电脑连不上它，让用户在部署目录看 `docker compose ps`，并确认 agent.json 里的地址从这台电脑能打开。
- **文件存在且能连** → 继续。
之后所有调用都用这两个变量：

（没有 `jq` 就 `cat ~/.mediary/agent.json`，自己读出 `token` 和 `baseUrl` 两个值再用。）
请求统一带 `-H "Authorization: Bearer $TOKEN"`。

How to install
mdr add fancydirty/mediary-scout/mediary-scout@sha256:850416da905ea681The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260930.33cc664, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
