Use when the user works…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# flyway-migrations ## Overview Flyway tracks applied migrations in a per-database `flyway_schema_history` table and applies pending migrations in order by version number ([fw-how][fw-how]). [fw-home]: https://documentation.red-gate.com/fd/flyway-documentation-138346877.html [fw-how]: https://documentation.red-gate.com/fd/quickstart-how-flyway-works-184127223.html ## When to use - The repo has a `db/migration/` (or configured) directory of `V*.sql` / `R*.sql` files. - The user works with Flyway CLI / Docker / Maven plugin / Gradle plugin. - A CI workflow needs a migration gate against a per-PR ephemeral database (e.g., Testcontainers) before merge. - The team migrates from manual SQL scripts to versioned migration control. ## How to use Follow Steps 1 - 7 below in order; each numbered step is the single source for that part of the workflow. ## Step 1 - Install Flyway runs on Windows, macOS, Linux, and Docker, plus Maven and Gradle plugin distributions ([fw-home][fw-home]). Common install paths: ```bash # Docker (zero-install for CI) docker run --rm -e FLYWAY_PASSWORD flyway/flyway -url=jdbc:postgresql://host/db -user=usr migrate # Homebrew (macOS / Linux) …

How to install
mdr add testland/qa/flyway-migrations@sha256:2e76ad5cf7de63b6The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261002.6a3229d, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
