Build, register, and troubleshoot Tizen Action Framework providers in C#, C++, JavaScript, or Flutter-Tizen/Dart. Use this whenever the work involves exposing an app capability to a Tizen Agent — creating an action provider, generating actionc/TIDL stubs, implementing a generated ServiceBase, registering action/provider manifest metadata, defining custom .action or .entity schemas (including subscription actions with eventSchema), or debugging why an action provider is never invoked, times…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Tizen Action Framework provider Applies to `"type": "tidl"` actions only. `appControl` and `plugin` actions never go through the `actionc → action2tidl → tidlc` stub-generation flow, so if the request turns out to be about those, say so and point at the framework guide instead of forcing it through this pipeline — `references/common.md` explains what each type does instead. All paths below are relative to this skill's directory. Run the bundled scripts through their interpreter (`bash scripts/<name>.sh`), because some plugin installs drop the executable bit. ## Route the request 1. Read `references/common.md` for every task. It carries the `actionc` CLI reference, the toolchain setup, the generated-code conventions shared by every language, and the on-device verification loop. 2. Establish whether a default category already covers the capability. Run `bash scripts/list_categories.sh` (or `.ps1`), then read the matching `.action` files under `$ACTIONC_DATA_DIR/actions/` for exact action names and entity types. A default category is always cheaper than a custom one, because the framework already ships and resolves its schemas. …

How to install
mdr add samsung/tizen-agent-skills/tizen-action-skill@sha256:e409a003aea9c668The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.7ab479a, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
