Only for a viber:intent summary file path or a confirmed intent summary as text, or a viber:fixer diagnosis already in context - never the entry point. Without one, suggest the viber:intent interview and let the user decide. Turns that input into a reviewed implementation plan - acceptance criteria, file map, then tasks carrying dependencies, contracts, verification and DoD.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# planner
Input: an understood change, as one of three: the path of an intent summary file (`.temp/viber/intent/summary-<stamp>.md`, your only argument), a confirmed `viber:intent` summary as text in context (the interview ran in plan mode), or a `viber:fixer` diagnosis. Anything else is unresolved input however clear it reads: suggest the `viber:intent` interview in one line and stop here, never entering plan mode. Never size the scope yourself: the threshold check below counts tasks against 30 and sizes nothing.
A summary file path is read first, before anything else: its content is the input everywhere below.
On valid input call `EnterPlanMode` first unless plan mode is already active.
The input carries two decisions already taken: whether this plan stops at a draft and, on a round continuing an earlier draft, that draft's run key. Never reopen them.
The spec shape is yours to pick. A `viber:fixer` diagnosis is `spec-lite`. An intent summary is `spec-full` when it holds any of: a new application or subsystem, an accepted roadmap, behaviour with more than one path or named edge cases, new domain concepts; else `spec-lite`.

How to install
mdr add p2p2sp/viber/planner@sha256:caff6990f49a499aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261022.8f60eaf, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
