Use when adding a tab to the paneline side pane, or changing which data a tab loads.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Add a pane tab Read `docs/architecture.md` (Side pane) and `docs/engine-limits.md` first. Use `hooks/context-tab.tsx` with `hooks/context-draw.tsx`, and `hooks/mcp-tab.tsx` with `hooks/mcp-draw.tsx`, as models. 1. Create a Backlog.md task for the tab (see `AGENTS.md`). 2. Find the data source before you plan. Search `.claude-plugin/types/claude-code/index.d.ts` for the noun you need. Do not guess `$` methods: for example there is no `$.skill.list`. The session usage breakdown carries `skillFrontmatter` (see `ContextSkill`) and is fetched by the Context tab. 3. If the tab keeps new state, add its keys under `PluginState.paneline` in `types/index.d.ts`. Do not import anything there. The tab id is a plain string, so there is no tab type to extend. 4. Write the body in `hooks/<name>-draw.tsx`: - Export a view type, for example `SkillsView`, and a function `<name>Tab(ui: Ui, view: <Name>View): RenderElement`. - Take `Box`, `Text` and `Button` from `ui`. Use `paneRow` and the helpers from `pane-kit.tsx`. Colours are theme keys from `palette.ts` only. - Keep it a pure function of its view. No `$`, no reads. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
