Use when preparing or reviewing a construction work-in-progress schedule under AASB 15: measuring progress by input or output method, cost to complete, contract assets and contract liabilities, variations and claims as constrained variable consideration, and tying the schedule to revenue and the general ledger.

# WIP over/under billing Build a contract-by-contract WIP schedule that measures progress under AASB 15, classifies each contract as a contract asset or a contract liability, and ties the totals to revenue and the general ledger. The output is a reviewed schedule with a documented tie-out, not posted journals. ## Inputs needed 1. Contract register: signed contracts, approved variations, and any contracts with the same customer or its related parties entered into at or near the same time (needed for the AASB 15 para 17 combination test) 2. For each contract: original contract sum, approved variation prices, and unpriced or disputed scope changes with the evidence of entitlement (superintendent instructions, correspondence, determinations) 3. Costs incurred to date and forecast cost to complete per contract, split into direct labour, materials, subcontractors, plant and allocated contract overhead, separately identifying costs of inefficiency, rework and wastage and materials delivered but not yet installed (see `contract-cost-tracking`) …
