> shared third-party install. Editing it corrupts shared state. **Never** treat an SDK file edit as a fix.
> If a file is damaged, RECOVER from a kept backup — do not "repair/regenerate" it.
## Responsibility
Enforce "Do Not Modify QAIRT SDK Files" (B9), diagnose a damaged `qnn-context-binary-generator.exe`
(0-byte / `WinError 193`) **read-only**, and recover the single damaged file from the kept SDK zip /
launcher-script backup without a ~2 GB reinstall.

- `[WinError 193] %1 is not a valid Win32 application` when launching the generator
- A generator/tool is 0-byte or corrupt
- You are about to conclude "the fix requires editing an SDK file" → **STOP, this is B9**

How to install
mdr add qualcomm/qai-appbuilder/sdk-integrity-recovery@sha256:cc9aa3d6dd002411The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260822.fbacac1, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
