Optional command line and MCP server for a macOS app, so Claude Code, Codex, and scripts can drive it (list, add, change, search, act) through the running app. Use when the user wants agents to work with their app or its data, asks for a CLI, an MCP server, or automation for the app, or says "Claude should be able to use my app".
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Agent CLI Give the app a command line, so an agent can do everything a person can do in the window: `tasks items add --title "Call the dentist"`. The app binary is the CLI. How to install
mdr add tomcounsell/ai/agent-cli@sha256:e7ef0e6a94b2c6a2The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261027.b1054fc, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
