Audit LaTeX papers as discourse graphs when paragraph flow, story continuity, readability, reader-state breadcrumbs, payoff chains, appendix/supplement structure, or figure/equation placement matter. Use when the user asks whether a section feels abrupt, wasteful, machine-generated, monotonous, hard to parse, or wants to zoom in/out across paragraphs before editing; also use for GRE-style paragraph logic checks such as topic promise, paragraph unity, sentence-to-sentence coherence…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Paper Discourse Graph Use this skill to review a paper section as a reader-state graph, not only as a linear outline. The goal is to see what each paragraph plants, what it pays off, where notation appears before intuition, and where a justification detour interrupts the main story. ## 1. Workflow ### 1.1 Establish scope Identify the source `.tex` file or section to audit. If the user wants discussion before editing, produce findings and proposed interventions only. Look for project-local guidance before running a generic pass: - `AGENT_REVIEW_BRIEF.md` - `docs/*review*brief*.md` - `tools/discourse_graph/profiles/*.json` - paper-specific profiles or terminology docs ### 1.2 Check the whole argument before local polish For a paper-level revision, connect the opening question to the proposed insight, the mechanism, and the exact evidence that answers it. For a narrow edit, inspect only the relevant part of that chain. Distinguish three cases: - **Exposition gap:** the answer exists but its placement or explanation hides it. - **Evidence gap:** the paper has not yet answered the question; prose cannot close it. …

How to install
mdr add shubham0704/claude-skills/paper-discourse-graph@sha256:8af13ed9b9671e80The line at the top of this page pins the label v0.1.5, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
