Periodic pass that keeps a project's verification skill and feature map honest: parallel source readers per feature, one live session driving every feature, at most one PR of proven corrections. Use for /maintain-verification-skill or "audit the verify skill".
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Maintain a verification skill
A feature map rots the moment the app changes. This skill is the upkeep loop for a skill generated by `/create-verification-skill` (or any project-local verification skill with a feature map). The unit of rigor is the feature, not every sentence: cover every feature file from source and exercise every feature live, without terminalising every bullet.
**Platform note.** On Codex or another non-Claude runtime, the parallel per-feature source readers below map to `spawn_agent` fan-out, and the project-local skill lives under your runtime's skills location, not `.claude/skills/`. See [`codex-tools.md`](../poteto-mode/references/codex-tools.md).
## Outcomes
Pick one, and say which:
- **clean** — every feature got source and live coverage; nothing worth shipping. No branch, no PR.
- **changed** — one PR ships proven doc, harness, or map corrections.
- **blocked** — coverage could not finish or a proven fix could not ship safely. Say exactly what blocked it.

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260715.0a0ac03, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
A 17 of 17 checks passed. Fixed automatic checks with no AI involved, so the same checks give the same answer every run.
