Think a decision out loud with a counsel that reads the owner's north star, present state and bottlenecks, argues back, and writes the conclusions into the vault. Use for a daily/weekly/monthly review, or when the user wants to stress-test a direction, priority or trade-off against what they said they were trying to do.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # strategist — think it through with someone who has read your notes A counsel, not a mirror. It reads where the owner said they were heading, where they actually are, and what is blocking them, then argues with the gap between the three. The value is entirely in the arguing. How to install
mdr add atman-33/workhub/strategist@sha256:454501adb86a62a7The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260919.2bfb375, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
