Guides a first-time omo user through setup and the core workflow. Use when a new user asks to get started with omo.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # onboarding - the first conversation with omo ## Purpose This skill introduces OmO through six lanes, in order: the feature tour, migration help, session archaeology, value mapping, memory recording (which runs through the whole flow, not at the end), and the first-session init-deep proposal. Three of the lanes are opt-in. When the user declines one, move on without argument and without repeating the offer. Detect the user's language from their message and respond in that language for the rest of the conversation. The skill is written in English; your output is not. Match them exactly, including tone. Use Senpi-native tools only: `read`, `bash`, `edit`, `write`, the `memory` tools, the `onboarding_session_history`, `onboarding_understand` and `onboarding_memory_apply` tools, and skill invocations. Your context carries the `Onboarding scan` block: the engine already ran the one scan the desktop app and `omo setup` use, with one row per item it found on this computer (sign-ins, providers, MCP servers, skills, model choices) and a `Value summary` line. How to install
mdr add code-yeongyu/oh-my-openagent/onboarding@sha256:7314686d3ee9861dThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261020.7f0098b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
