'Configure safe git workflow hygiene: pre-commit/pre-push hooks, Gitleaks.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Configure Git Hygiene Set up project-local hygiene that stays fast enough to keep enabled. Stop if the directory is not a git repo. ## Ask first Propose the plan (current facts, files and config to change, verification, risks) and get approval before you: - write, replace, or merge into a hook file; - set a `git config` value (local or global) or run `chmod`; - run `git rm --cached`; - install a tool, or choose whether a hook fails or skips when a tool is missing. If the repo is dirty, show `git status --short` and ask before hook or config edits. When asked for a plan, give the whole plan in one answer. How to install
mdr add alexei-led/cc-thingz/configuring-git-hygiene@sha256:64136a71eb65e141The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260928.296db92, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
