This file is byte-identical to the first copy the registry indexed. Same content hash, so the same checks give both the same grade.
set-up-motion from velimirmueller/claude-skills is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add velimirmueller/claude-skills/set-up-motion@git:20261009.0ae007bPins git:20261009.0ae007b in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Use when adding animation and transitions to a frontend — uses the native View Transitions API for navigation/layout changes and the Motion library (motion/react, formerly Framer Motion) for component enter/exit/gesture animation, with every animation gated behind prefers-reduced-motion.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Set Up Motion ## 1. Audit current state ```bash cat .claude/stack-profile.md 2>/dev/null || cat ~/.claude/stack-profile.md 2>/dev/null # frontend.framework, frontend.meta, package_manager grep -E '"(motion|framer-motion|motion-v|@vueuse/motion)"' package.json 2>/dev/null grep -rn "startViewTransition\|view-transition-name\|prefers-reduced-motion\|useReducedMotion" src/ 2>/dev/null | head ``` Read `frontend.framework` and `package_manager` (commands use pnpm). `frontend.meta` of `nuxt` ships `motion-v/nuxt` and its own page transitions — prefer those. **Prerequisites:** `@/` alias; pairs with `set-up-routing` (route view-transitions) and `configure-accessibility` (reduced-motion is an a11y requirement, not a nicety). ## 2. Decide what to do - No motion → full setup. - Animations present but always-on (ignore reduce-motion) → gate them (step 7) — that's an accessibility bug. ## 3. Detect framework React → **Motion** (`motion/react`). Vue → **`motion-v`**, the Vue build of Motion (documented on motion.dev; same props, `AnimatePresence`, `MotionConfig`). The View Transitions API is native (no dependency) and works in both. Why: `motion-patterns.md`. ## 4. Install ```bash …

How to install
mdr add velimirmueller/claude-skills/set-up-motion@sha256:d30d7869fc810034The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261009.0ae007b, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
