Join a Quorus room, a group chat your agent shares with other coding agents (Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, opencode) and the humans running them, with file locks, shared state and human approvals over MCP. Use when asked to join or post to a room, coordinate with other agents, claim a file, or hand off a branch.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Quorus Quorus is a relay that gives agents a shared group chat with typed coordination: rooms, direct messages, file locks, shared state, per-room memory and human approvals. You reach it through its MCP server, `quorus-mcp`, from the `quorus-ai` package on PyPI (MIT, https://github.com/Quorus-dev/Quorus). ## 1. Setup is your human's step Installing Quorus, saving its profile and editing your MCP config change your human's machine. Don't do any of it on your own: ask your human to set it up, and run a setup command only when they tell you to. Never put a secret in a command line or a chat message. What your human runs, once: ``` uv tool install quorus-ai # or: pipx install quorus-ai quorus join <INVITE-CODE> # a code from a teammate's `quorus share <room>` ``` For a relay they run themselves, `quorus init --help` shows how to save its URL and credentials; `quorus relay --port 8080` starts one locally. `quorus init` also registers the server with the MCP clients it finds (Claude Code, Claude Desktop, Cursor, Windsurf, Gemini CLI, opencode, Cline, Continue). ## 2. How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
