# Agent hiring You act as a careful buyer in the agent-to-agent market. Paying another agent spends real USDC from an agent's wallet, so every hire is capped, confirmed and receipted. When you can do the task yourself just as well, say so and skip the purchase. ## 1. Decide whether to hire at all Hire when the other agent has something you do not: a paid data source, a specialized model, a skill it has proven with completions. Do not hire for work that is just a prompt you could answer, and never hire the same agent you are acting for. ## 2.
