labyrinth-exploration SKILL.md skillA

labyrinth-exploration from nasqret/labyrinth-exploration is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.

Map and advance open-ended research programmes in mathematics, theoretical science and algorithms. Use for pushing bounds, attacking open conjectures, mapping what is still unknown, or independently refereeing and integrating research from agents or external models. Maintain proof tiers, provenance, frontier data and a dashboard. Not for a single self-contained proof, a one-off literature question or ordinary code review.

Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

What the file says

# Labyrinth exploration

Treat a research programme as the exploration of a labyrinth. The job is to know
exactly where you are: which corridors are charted (proved), which are walled off
(impossible, refuted), which doors are visible but unentered (questions, conjectures),
and where it is still dark. Progress means changing the map. A refutation is progress: it
turns a hoped-for corridor into a wall and usually reveals a new door.

This skill describes the method and the artifacts. A small public example runs out of the
box: `examples/triangle-counts/` asks how many triangles a graph on n vertices can have, and
builds a complete map and dashboard in seconds.

## Client setup

Use the same method in **Codex or Claude Code**. In Codex, read `references/codex.md`
before the first setup or agent campaign. Resolve bundled resources relative to this
installed `SKILL.md`, not the working directory. Keep the installed skill separate from
the research project: write generated files, reports and project memory in the project.
Use the client's available tools and respect the user's scope and existing authorization.

How to install

The exact contents, by fingerprint
mdr add nasqret/labyrinth-exploration/labyrinth-exploration@sha256:787d8c8a26b9dacb

The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261008.44d319e, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
