Run a read-only challenge review through Cursor's CLI (cursor-agent) in ask mode. Use when the user asks for a review via Cursor, or when the cross-family rule needs a reviewer family the standalone CLIs cannot field — one paid adapter serving GPT, Claude, Grok, Kimi, Gemini, Meta, GLM, Composer, and auto.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# Adversarial review via `cursor-agent` (ask mode) The value of this leg is **family width through one adapter**: pin the model per round and the same CLI can be a GPT, Claude, Grok, Kimi, Gemini, Meta or GLM reviewer — whichever family the cross-family accounting still allows. Three of those are other adapters' families (Gemini is agy's, Meta and GLM are opencode's): a swap to cursor keeps the family (runtime file). The model flag IS the accounting decision; `auto` and every `composer-*` except `composer-2.5` / `composer-2.5-fast` never satisfy the rule, and those two count as Kimi by the owner's ruling of 2026-10-07 (runtime file, accounting rules). ## Before the first run of a session Read **[`references/cursor-runtime.md`](references/cursor-runtime.md)** (same directory). The three measured postures matter more than anything else in it: bare `-p` writes files without asking, `--mode plan` headless returns empty output every time, and `--mode ask` is the one posture that both refuses writes and delivers a report. The skill below assumes those three facts; do not re-derive them at dispatch time. ## Establish an immutable review target …

How to install
mdr add aarontzeng/dev-lead/cursor-adversarial-review@sha256:067bf11ba6349697The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261007.90c283f, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
