Use ChemDraw and cdxml-toolkit for editable chemical structures, reaction figures, ACS Document 1996 drawings for exams and papers, image reconstruction, scientific drawings, chemical analysis, and ChemDraw objects in Office; also install or diagnose their runtime.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # ChemDraw Editable chemistry through the bundled `cdxml_toolkit` runtime and, on Windows, licensed native ChemDraw. Report chemical identity, reader consistency, native compatibility and visual fidelity separately. ## Quick start (command line) `<skill>` is the folder containing this file. `python` is any Python 3.9+ on the host (`python3` on macOS/Linux, `python` or `py` on Windows). Everything runs through one entry point: ```bash python <skill>/scripts/cdx.py tools # list the registered tools python <skill>/scripts/cdx.py render a.cdxml # native 300 dpi PNG beside it python <skill>/scripts/cdx.py build spec.json out.cdxml --render # ACS 1996 drawing from a spec python <skill>/scripts/cdx.py doctor # what works on this host ``` `cdx.py` re-launches itself in the toolkit runtime, wherever the installer put it; if none is found it says where it looked. Below, `cdx.py` stands for `python <skill>/scripts/cdx.py`. Run helper scripts and toolkit modules the same way: `cdx.py py <skill>/scripts/image_review_workspace.py ...`, `cdx.py py -m cdxml_toolkit.scientific ...`. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
