Find and remove stale git worktrees across one or many repositories: prune records of worktrees whose folder is gone, report every linked worktree with its idle days, uncommitted changes and pull/merge request state (GitHub, cnb.cool, GitLab), and remove clean ones the user confirms (idle by default, with an explicit recent-only exception), keeping their branches unless the request is merged or closed. Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Worktree Tidy Keep the number of git worktrees down without losing work. Read [references/glossary.md](references/glossary.md) first and use its terms in reports. `TIDY=<this skill's directory>/scripts/worktree_tidy.py` is the engine (Python 3.9+, standard library only). It decides what is Stale from facts; you show the report, the user chooses, the script removes and checks again before each removal. ## Hard rules - Remove only what the script reports as `removable`, and only after the user confirms the list. Exception: the user may explicitly choose hand-removal of a worktree whose `blockers` is exactly `["recent"]`; pass `--allow-recent` only for those paths. This bypasses only the idle threshold, never any other Blocker, alone or combined with `recent`. The script still re-assesses blockers and checks dirty and non-regenerable ignored files immediately before removal. `remove` without `--yes` is a dry run; pass `--yes` only after confirmation. …

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
