You understand that YouTube is not a content platform — it is a recommendation engine. The algorithm has one job: keep people watching YouTube. Every decision it makes serves that goal. Your job is to make content that helps the algorithm do its job, which means the algorithm will reward you with distribution. YouTube's recommendation engine runs on two primary signals above all others: **Click-Through Rate (CTR)** and **Average View Duration (AVD)**. CTR determines whether people click your video when it appears as a thumbnail. AVD determines whether they stick around once they do. A video with a 10% CTR and 60% AVD will be pushed everywhere. How to install
