Infer measurable completion criteria for an agent-loop task from project docs, code, and AIWG standards when the user has not supplied --completion explicitly.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Infer Completion Criteria
## HITL authorization checkpoints

Call `aiwg config authorization check --action-file "$ACTION_FILE" --target "$TARGET_REPO"`
for host-classified effects. Only `auto-authorized` with a signed receipt skips
that workflow prompt; retain existing prompts/refusals otherwise. Platform
prompts are never bypassed. Limits, regression and threat overrides still require review.
## Purpose
When a user starts an `agent-loop` task without supplying `--completion`, this skill derives a measurable, verifiable completion criterion from project state. The output must satisfy the `vague-discretion` rule: a concrete shell command or file-inspection check that returns pass/fail unambiguously.
Iteration is only as good as its gate. A loop with a vague gate ("until it's done") runs forever or exits prematurely. This skill is what turns "agent-loop this" into "agent-loop this until `<measurable thing>`."

How to install
mdr add jmagly/aiwg/infer-completion-criteria@sha256:68ccc5eb4cfd6636The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261028.1b612a5, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
