Run validation on a specific module from the current forge plan.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
Validate a specific module from the active forge plan. Prefix all output with `[forge:validate]`.
1. Read the latest plan from `.forge/plans/` (most recent JSON file)
2. Find the module matching the argument (e.g., "m1", "m2")
3. Call mcp__forge__validate with that module's verify commands and files
4. Call mcp__forge__iteration_state to get retry history
5. Report results:
```
## Validation: {module title}
**Status:** PASSED / FAILED
**Score:** {X}/{Y} checks passed
**Stagnant:** yes/no
**Attempt:** {N}
### Results
- [PASS] npm test -- --grep 'auth'
- [FAIL] npx tsc --noEmit (error: TS2345 in src/auth.ts:42)
### Recommendation
{PASS / RETRY_WITH_DEBUGGER / ESCALATE}
```Read the whole file at its exact version.
How to install
mdr add tt-wang/forge/forge-validate@sha256:e4f515c600a3ad8aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260401.ddbeb41, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
