crash-triage-reference from testland/qa is an agent skill: a SKILL.md folder an AI agent loads when a task calls for it.
mdr add testland/qa/crash-triage-reference@git:20261011.a1bd3f7Pins git:20261011.a1bd3f7 in mdr.lock. Pin the fingerprint instead.

Reference catalog for triaging fuzzer crash artifacts - reading ASan, UBSan, and MSan output; classifying findings as LIKELY-EXPLOITABLE, MEDIUM, or BENIGN; deduplicating by stack-hash; minimizing reproducers with -minimize_crash; plus the bulk triage workflow for a full artifact directory (inventory, reproduce, classify, dedupe, BLOCK/PASS verdict with refuse-to-proceed rules and a report template). Use when you need to understand what a specific crash means, build exploitability intuition…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# crash-triage-reference ## Overview Pure-reference catalog for working with fuzzer crash artifacts produced by libFuzzer, AFL++, or cargo-fuzz campaigns using clang sanitisers. Covers reading crash output from ASan, UBSan, and MSan; distinguishing LIKELY-EXPLOITABLE from BENIGN findings; collapsing duplicates by stack-hash; and minimizing reproducers. The "Bulk triage workflow" section applies these steps across a full artifact directory and ends in a BLOCK / PASS verdict. For sanitiser build flags and compatibility, see the sanitizer-integration reference in the sibling `coverage-guided-fuzzing` skill. ## When to use - Reading a raw ASan / UBSan / MSan crash report and identifying the bug class. - Deciding whether a finding blocks a release (LIKELY-EXPLOITABLE) or is a lower-priority issue (MEDIUM or BENIGN). - Collapsing 20 crash artifacts into N unique bugs before filing tickets. - Reducing a crash input to its minimal reproducer before attaching it to a bug. - Triaging a whole campaign's artifact directory into a release verdict (see "Bulk triage workflow"). ## Reading ASan crash output AddressSanitizer (per …

How to install
mdr add testland/qa/crash-triage-reference@sha256:d301022a256cba7aThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261011.a1bd3f7, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
