Create and maintain agent-authored Paperclip status cards, or compile a prose interest prompt into bounded CompanySearchQuery objects and write the first summary from the assigned Summarizer run.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Status card query
Use this skill in one of two modes:
1. **Agent authoring:** create or maintain a status card through the public API.
2. **Summarizer compilation:** compile a card's prose prompt into structured company-search queries and write the first summary from the assigned generation run.
## Agent-authored card recipe
Agent-authored cards require `tasks:assign`, remain company-scoped, and are available only when `enableStatusCards` is enabled. An agent may manage only cards it authored, may author at most 20 cards, and may send at most 4,000 characters in `interestPrompt`.
Normalize the run-provided API base and create a manual card:

Creation returns `201` and queues compilation automatically. Save the returned card id. To refine an owned card or request a refresh:

How to install
mdr add paperclipai/paperclip/status-card-query@sha256:0c6140f51d503cbaThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260724.3a16b91, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
