Tier 1 semantic memory search across the Serena corpus with.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Memory Search
Tier 1 semantic search over memory: the focused search operation extracted from
the `memory` router per ADR-063 (memory-skill decomposition). `memory` still
routes here; a caller that needs only search loads this sub-skill instead of the
full memory surface.
## Triggers
Use this skill when the user says:
- `search memory` for semantic search across stored knowledge
- `what do we know about X` to recall facts, patterns, or constraints
- `recall prior context` before changing existing code or architecture

The search script is canonical and shared with the `memory` router; this
sub-skill does not reimplement it. It lives at
`skills/memory/scripts/search_memory.py` under the plugin root (`COPILOT_PLUGIN_ROOT`, then
`CLAUDE_PLUGIN_ROOT`, falling back to `.claude`).

How to install
mdr add rjmurillo/ai-agents/memory-search@sha256:841dc93f6d263ad9The line at the top of this page pins the label v0.1.0, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
