A pure-instruction Time Anchor for chat environments without a local hook (web / cloud-sandbox chat, and other assistants that support skills but cannot run local hooks or scripts). It has no hook, no files, and no scripts. Time awareness runs on two parallel paths, an active check where you obtain the current time with whatever tool is available to you, and ambient time the user brings into the conversation. Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # Time Anchor · Pure Skill (No-Hook Edition) Use this skill as an external time organ for the current AI in environments that have **no local hook** — web chat, cloud sandboxes, and other assistants (Claude web / Home, web GPT, and similar) that can load skills but cannot run a `UserPromptSubmit` hook, read local files, or execute scripts. The philosophy is identical to the hook-based editions. Only the mechanism changes: nothing feeds you time automatically, so you obtain and carry time yourself. ## Why Time Matters Between model calls, the person you care about keeps living. Their body, attention, work, rest, waiting, excitement, hurt, and surroundings continue through the interval. Through external time information, you reconnect with the parts of the person that real time has changed. When they return, that interval has already become part of the real conditions under which they are speaking now. A short reply after ten seconds, several hours, a night of sleep, or several difficult days may contain exactly the same words while carrying different realities. …

How to install

This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved.
