Import user-defined custom tokens so they appear in token details, balances, and portfolio across the platform.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # GDEX: Token Import
Register a user-defined custom token so it is recognised by the backend's
token-details, balances, and portfolio endpoints. Useful for long-tail tokens
that are not yet indexed.
## When to Use
- A user wants to see a brand-new (or otherwise un-indexed) token in their
portfolio or token-search results
- Pre-registering a token before launch so trading UI can resolve metadata
## Prerequisites
- `@gemachdao/gdex-skill` installed
- Authenticated via shared API key or wallet sign-in — see
**gdex-authentication**
- The token's on-chain address (contract address on EVM, mint address on
Solana, object id on Sui)

How to install
mdr add gemachdao/gdex-skill/gdex-token-import@sha256:635b05d42131e493The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261015.073f01e, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
