Write, check, clean up and synthesis-optimize Pyrope (the LiveHD hardware description language) with the lhd tool. Use when creating or editing .prp files, translating Verilog to/from Pyrope, answering Pyrope syntax/semantics questions, running lhd (compile, sim, formal, lec, synth, sta), cleaning machine-emitted Pyrope, or improving area/frequency with synthesis attributes.

# Pyrope Pyrope is a hardware description language: every construct elaborates to wires, muxes, flops and memories. `lhd` (LiveHD) compiles, simulates, proves, synthesizes and times it. How to install
mdr add masc-ucsc/livehd/pyrope@sha256:21ce18c12d5a68d4The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261012.bf1ca02, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
