Convert roman numerals to integers.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. # Roman numerals → integer Use this skill when the user asks you to convert a Roman numeral (e.g., `XIV`, `MCMXCIV`) into a base-10 integer. ## Output format Return only the integer as decimal digits (no extra words or punctuation). ## Procedure 1. Map symbols to values: `I=1`, `V=5`, `X=10`, `L=50`, `C=100`, `D=500`, `M=1000`. 2. Walk left to right: - If a symbol is followed by a larger symbol, subtract it. - Otherwise, add it. 3. Sum to get the final integer. ## Examples Load `examples/skills/roman-numerals/examples/001.md` for worked examples and edge cases.
