Read or research X/Twitter posts, URLs, profiles, threads, or the user's X history using the cheapest available source.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.
What the file says
# X data For X reads in any project, use this order and stop when the requested evidence is sufficient: 1. **Local Birdclaw snapshot.** Search the current indexed archive first, including supplied post URLs and recent content. Use the installed `birdclaw` CLI or read-only SQLite at `~/.birdclaw/birdclaw.sqlite`. A URL supplies a tweet ID; it does not bypass the archive. 2. **Globally installed `bird`.** Fill archive gaps through the existing authenticated browser session. The personal account is `@transitive_bs`; verify it with `bird --plain whoami` before account-specific reads or syncs. Use installed command help rather than assuming a command exists. 3. **Public FxTwitter API.** If `bird` fails or lacks the required operation, try `https://api.fxtwitter.com` for public data. It cannot supply private DMs, authenticated bookmarks, or other account-private data; mark that tier inapplicable for those requests. 4. **Paid `xurl`.** Use the [xurl reference](../xurl/SKILL.md) only after the cheaper applicable sources failed or could not provide the required evidence. Keep calls bounded and report why the paid fallback was needed. …

How to install
mdr add transitive-bullshit/skills/x-data@sha256:164f4844ad744d0cThe line at the top of this page pins the label git:20261005.ac6fe42, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
