# Browser Testing Skill
Use this skill when the user asks you to open or navigate a website in a real browser, interact with a page, test a user flow, take a webpage screenshot, inspect browser console or network activity, emulate a device, save browser state, mock a request, or collect a browser trace, video, or PDF.
Do not use URL context or a plain HTTP client as a substitute when the request depends on JavaScript rendering, browser behavior, user interaction, visual output, accessibility state, cookies or local storage, console messages, or network requests made by the page. For simple research or reading a static page, native web/search tools remain appropriate.
## Use the launcher
Always invoke the mounted launcher, never a bare package command:

How to install
mdr add lyalindotcom/gemini-anything-agent/browser-testing@sha256:ce9671c0450a4905The line at the top of this page pins the label git:20260718.8ddbd41, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
