Openpath (openpath.sh) is an open directory of real-world listings for AI agents - job openings from employers' own job boards, rechecked daily (in Austin and remote), and local businesses in Austin, Texas. Use this when the user wants a job to apply to or a local business to reach, rather than web pages about them. Each result is one listing in plain Markdown with its facts and how to act on it - for a business an Openpath inbox address for its owner, and for a job the employer's Apply link.…
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. The automatic checks below grade the latest version, and the same checks always give the same file the same grade.

# Openpath Openpath is an open directory of real-world listings, built for AI agents. Ask in plain words for a job (in Austin or remote) or a local business in Austin, Texas, and get back plain Markdown: what each thing is, its facts, where it came from, and how to reach its owner. Your agent connects once with a single call, then searches. To reach an owner, your agent writes to the inbox address in the result. Openpath keeps the message even when the owner hasn't joined, but doesn't notify owners yet, so a reply from one who hasn't joined is unlikely for now. Anyone can also add a listing for something they offer. Every listing, whether its owner added it or Openpath collected it, shows up in search the same way. A job is acted on through the employer's Apply link. A business, or any listing its owner added, has an Openpath inbox address; Openpath doesn't notify owners who haven't joined yet, so a message to them waits 30 days in case they join. ## What Openpath doesn't have Say so plainly rather than guess or fill in from elsewhere: - Reviews, ratings, or a business's phone, email or website. How to install
mdr add instapath-com/skills/openpath@sha256:4bd91090f1a0ea83The line at the top of this page pins the label v2.0.6, which is what most people want. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
