Prepare a secret-safe, hash-pinned repository snapshot for manual review by an external model, generate a local handoff contract, and verify returned structured findings against the live repository without automatic upload or external execution.
Collected from public GitHub. Every version is saved exactly as it was and never changes. Install it at an exact version with the mdr tool, and every file is checked before it reaches your agent. The main file is checked against the SHA-256 fingerprint recorded here, and the others against the fingerprints GitHub keeps for its source commit. # External Review Workflow Use this skill when a repository needs a second-model or external deep review without handing an external service live filesystem access. ## Workflow 1. Preview a package with `node <agentchef>/scripts/external-review-cli.mjs review pack --target <repo>`. 2. Write it outside the target only after approval with `node <agentchef>/scripts/external-review-cli.mjs review pack --target <repo> --out <outside-dir> --apply`. 3. Confirm freshness and preview the handoff with `node <agentchef>/scripts/external-review-cli.mjs review handoff --target <repo> --manifest <manifest>`. 4. Write the local handoff with the same command plus `--apply`. 5. The user manually chooses whether and where to submit the bundle. 6. Save the returned JSON report locally and run `node <agentchef>/scripts/external-review-cli.mjs review verify --target <repo> --manifest <manifest> --report <json>`. 7. Recheck later with `node <agentchef>/scripts/external-review-cli.mjs review status --target <repo> --manifest <manifest>`. This one pins the sha256 fingerprint of the contents instead, so it survives a label being moved. Either way the exact version is written to mdr.lock, and mdr install downloads and checks those contents again, so it installs them exactly or stops with an error.
